21/366: Movies. This is my shelf o' movies! (It's actually the top of my computer desk.) They're arranged alphabetically (by series name where applicable), with Lord of the Rings conveniently in the middle.

20/366: Honey. Dad and Pam housesat a neighbor's dog (full Cocker Spaniel, gorgeous thing) this weekend. Honey was Not Happy, as evidenced by the fact that she spent a good deal of time hiding on the computer desk.

19/366: Canstruction. Every year, architects and engineers get together to build these awesome structures out of donated canned items, which are later distributed to food shelters. This is my favorite, the Statue of Liberty.

18/366: Dad's books. I grew up in a family of bookworms. This is a good part of Dad's collection - eight feet high and each section is about three to four feet wide. Five sections, crammed full of books. Plus he has two stacks of books by the bed, more out at the cabin...

17/366: Coal barge. This was taken out one of the windows of the office where I work.

16/366: Glasses. I finally got my glasses Wednesday evening... I really like how they feel and look, and there's a slight but definite "crispness" to whatever I'm reading, when these glasses are on.

15/366: Statue. Statue outside the library of the founder of the university. That's part of Old Main in the background, which houses all the administrative offices and departments.

14/366: Fireplace. The student center at my university has a very nice fireplace in the middle of the lounge. I think it's a gas fireplace or something - the logs don't actually burn and today I saw the switch that controls it all. But it's real flames, and it's very cool. Or hot. Or something.

13/366: Ready for school. This is my messenger bag, all ready for classes to start again - you can see my notebook, umbrella, and planner. Not shown are the stuff in the flap pocket (wallet, camera, lotion, headphones, etc) and in the front zip pocket (ibuprofen, Sudafed, fold-up brush, travel tissue pack, etc).

12/366: Goth Barbie. Okay, not really - as you might be able to tell, it's a Beach Barbie or some such. I just chose her because she had dark hair and she was cheap. :P But the outfit's pretty cool - burgundy corset-type and satiny capris, with a silver belt. The outfit also came with a pair of silver shoes, but those were narrow and Beach Barbie's feet are wide (go figure), so they didn't fit.
